In Lafitte-sur-Lot, the Saint-Sauveur château consists of a small Renaissance dwelling from the first half of the 16th century, extended by a polygonal stair tower and a wing added in the following century. Its main interest lies in Italian-inspired frescoes, an Adoration of the Magi, uncovered in 1955 after being whitewashed around 1560 when the village turned Protestant. Only the Renaissance dwelling and its stair tower are listed as a historic monument, excluding the dovecote and the later wing.
