What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château contient un escalier à paliers droits, monté sur des colonnes cannelées tronconiques et sur des culots restés dans la note gothique, ainsi que les personnages qui y sont représentés. Le plafond des paliers est enrichi d'enroulements de cuir sculptés dans la pierre. Cet escalier doit dater du règne de Henri IV, mais les balustres de la rampe ne sont pas antérieurs à celui de Louis XIII.
