First recorded in 1427, it passed through the du Tiercent, du Bouëxic and Menou families before entering private hands. The building adjoins the parish church directly and its reception rooms still hold period wood panelling and fireplaces. It is now run as a venue for escape-room evenings and mystery games rather than a conventional heritage tour.
