On a hilltop above the village stands a former fortified manor house whose origins date back to the 15th century. The complex, arranged around a square courtyard, still bears the marks of its defensive purpose: a round tower pierced with firing slits, the remains of a machicolated gallery above the gateway, and broad terraces that replaced the former moats. Inside the courtyard, a timber gallery resting on stone pillars and an old well point to a more domestic use of the place, set apart from the military role of the outer walls.
