To make a day of it

Château de La Chaume stands in Corgoloin (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In Corgoloin, in the Côte-d'Or, the château de La Chaume stands in an H-shaped plan just off the road running through the village. The main building, flanked by two pavilions, is marked by a colonnaded gallery on its south front and by hipped roofs pierced with dormer skylights. Little remains visible of the fortified keep first recorded in the early 14th century, but the site and its layout reflect centuries of change.
