What the French Ministry of Culture records

Construit au 16e siècle sur les lieux où serait né Saint-Waast, catéchiste de Clovis, le château a subi d'importantes restaurations vers 1875. Il comprend un corps de logis barlong, flanqué aux quatre angles de tours rondes, et auquel est soudé un bâtiment carré. Sur celui-ci s'appuient une tour ronde, la courtine du pont-levis qui permet l'accès à la terrasse, et une tour carrée. Un chemin de ronde à mâchicoulis et meurtrières fait le tour complet du château.
