In Veilhes, in the Tarn department, the château de Vénac stands on the site of a medieval fortified house called La Salle, first recorded in 1444. The present rectangular main building, flanked by two square towers, is the result of successive alterations carried out by the families who owned it over time, from the Bousquet d'Aure to the Guibert. The façade has four bays, a entrance porch reached by steps, and towers that were raised in height during the 20th century.
