Château de Sury stands in Sury-le-Comtal (Loire), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second quarter of the 17th century, 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

Behind deliberately plain façades, the Château de Sury conceals some of the most richly decorated 17th century interiors in the Loire region. From 1642 onward, ornamentalist Germain Baudouin and sculptor Claude Désiré created panelled walls, compartmented ceilings and mantelpieces topped with carved garlands and figures. A fire partly destroyed the building in 1937, yet the striking contrast between the restrained exterior and the elaborate interior decoration remains.
