Le château de Sury, construit au 13e siècle, a été entièrement remanié au 17e siècle. Ses façades très simples contrastent avec ses magnifiques intérieurs décorés à partir de 1642 par l'ornemaniste Germain Baudouin et le sculpteur Claude Désiré : lambris ; plafonds à compartiments ; cheminées surmontées de trumeaux en guirlandes, rinceaux et figures encadrant un panneau central peint ; galeries à balustres ; cariatides, ... Un incendie a dévasté en partie le château en 1937.
