What the French Ministry of Culture records

Au début du 18e siècle, le château sert d'habitation aux maîtres des forges. Le corps de logis est alors reconstruit ainsi que plusieurs bâtiments, dont des hébergeages au nord qui sont remplacés par une grande bergerie à la fin du 19e siècle. Une plateforme surélevée conserve les restes de l'ancien château : une tour carrée ; le corps de logis 18e siècle à l'est, de plan rectangulaire, transformé aux 19e et 20e siècles ; la bergerie ; le pavillon d'entrée dit "le Chalet", construit au 19e siècle.
