What the French Ministry of Culture records
Demeure Renaissance des bords de la Garonne construite au 16e siècle et restaurée au 19e par Ruprich-Robert. L'édifice se présente comme un grand corps de bâtiment perpendiculaire à la rive de la Garonne, et séparé en deux modules desservis par un escalier à vis en façade. La partie la plus proche de la rive présente une cuisine en demi sous-sol et se termine par une forme d'hémicycle. Une grosse tour ronde occupe l'angle sud-ouest du corps de bâtiment et l'angle sud-est porte une tourelle en poivrière. Vestiges d'ouvertures anciennes en façade Est. Les autres croisées ont fait l'objet d'une restitution au 19e siècle, de même pour la sculpture de la porte de la tour d'escalier et pour le décor intérieur.
