Built as a fortified house in the 15th century, it gained its defensive wall and corner towers in the early 17th century, before being converted into a gentleman's residence at the end of the 19th century. Visitors can see the loophole-pierced walls, two surviving towers, a bread oven, the ruins of a mill and a raised garden with a pool.
