Château de Charance stands in Gap (Hautes-Alpes), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
On the outskirts of Gap, the château de Charance stands on a site that has been fortified since the Middle Ages, reshaped over the centuries by the town's bishops before becoming municipal property in 1973. The building itself, now housing the offices of the Écrins National Park, is not open inside, but the grounds are: terraced gardens, a collection of old roses, an orchard and a landscaped park around a lake.
