Premier château édifié au cours du 15e siècle, remanié et complété à la fin du 16e siècle (enceinte, échauguette). Au 17e siècle, surtout remaniements intérieurs (chapelle peinte, cheminées monumentales, gypseries) et création du parc. Au début du 18e siècle, construction d'un grand bâtiment classique destiné à remplacer le château ancien.
