Standing above the hilltop village of Gordes, this 16th century château presents a rectangular plan with corner towers, combining a defensive northern face with a more refined Renaissance side to the south. The north façade, flanked by two machicolated towers, contrasts with the southern front pierced by mullioned windows and turrets. Inside, the great hall on the first floor still holds a monumental carved fireplace dated 1541. From the top of the building, the view extends over the Comtat Venaissin and the Apt valley.
