Château de Tourreau stands in Sarrians (Vaucluse), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château de Tourreau stands at Sarrians, in the Vaucluse, on an estate occupied from the early 17th century by the Tourreau family. The present building, raised between 1748 and 1752 by the architect Esprit-Joseph Brun, replaced an earlier structure of which the chapel begun in 1614 survives. Notable features include a classical main block extended by curved wings, an octagonal tower added in the 19th century, and grounds with a later basin and a memorial obelisk. The estate now operates as tourist accommodation and also hosts receptions and weddings.
