Château de Saint-Ferriol stands in Saint-Ferriol (Aude), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 17th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
Overlooking the village of Saint-Ferriol in the Aude, this castle replaced an earlier structure first recorded in 1155. Built in the late 16th or early 17th century, it combines a rectangular main range with two low wings, partly ruined, enclosing an inner courtyard. A notable feature is a fireplace on the upper floor bearing the name of Anne de Mauléon and the date 1630, decorated with a coat of arms showing a lion and a three-towered castle. Having seen little later alteration, the building retains much of its original architectural fabric.
