In Bouvron, in the Loire-Atlantique, the château de Quéhillac forms with its outbuildings a group built at the end of the 16th century and through the 17th century: chapel, chaplain's lodge, stables, dovecote and moats surrounded by a wooded park. The estate has belonged for generations to the descendants of the Fourché family, who acquired it in 1595, then to the counts le Gentil de Rosmorduc. Visitors come here for the architectural ensemble as a whole rather than a single building, including its access bridges, walled garden and the chapel with its mural paintings.
