Built mostly by Antoine d'Aubusson, the building retains a rectangular three storey main hall topped with machicolations, along with a spiral staircase featuring an ogee arched doorway and a turret. Two ruined towers and a section of wall pierced by a gate flanked by tower remains show the former scale of the fortifications.
