Château de Poey de Lescar stands in Poey-de-Lescar (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The château de Poey-de-Lescar, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, replaced an older noble residence that was torn down and rebuilt in 1763. The estate stayed within the same family through the Revolution and the whole of the 19th century before passing through several owners in the early 20th century. Bought in the 1930s by François Villa, heir to a banking family, it was then restored by the Pau-based architect Jules-Antoine Noutary and set within a twenty-hectare landscaped park.
