What the French Ministry of Culture records
Le château actuel, construit en 1653, a remplacé un ancien château fortifié rasé pendant la Ligue. L'édifice se compose d'un corps de bâtiment précédé d'un perron à double révolution et accosté de deux pavillons peu saillants. Un troisième pavillon, avec un comble à l'impériale, est accolé au sud. Cet édifice est intéressant comme spécimen des châteaux de la région de Rennes, édifiés au 17e siècle.
