Château de Pardaillan stands in Beaucaire (Gers), in the Occitanie region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The Château de Pardaillan stands in ruins on the Betbésé plateau, south of the village of Beaucaire in the Gers department, overlooking the meeting point of several streams including the Bèze. Once the seat of the Pardaillan family, documented since the 11th century, it belongs to the group of so called Gascon castles built along the former border between French and English held lands. Visitors can still make out a square keep, a round tower and long stretches of wall pierced with cross shaped arrow slits, remnants of a large enclosure surrounding a courtyard roughly 30 by 50 metres. Abandoned since the Revolution, the site retains the stark appearance of a deserted medieval stronghold.
