Standing on a hilltop above Mouzieys-Panens, this medieval castle has retained the martial appearance it had when it served as an outpost defending Cordes. Built in the 12th century, it passed through the hands of the Count of Toulouse and then the Penne and Rabastens families, before being burned down during the Wars of Religion. Its four-storey rectangular façade, pierced with large 18th-century windows, and its truncated round tower bear witness to these successive alterations. The building now houses the village town hall.
