The château de Montdragon stands at the heart of the village of Montdragon, in the Tarn, on a site first recorded in 961 under the name castel de Dargon. Having passed through royal hands and several noble families, including the Castelpers, Batignes, du Bosc and d'Yzarn, it retains an asymmetrical façade flanked by two truncated turrets and a mullioned window. The building, now divided between two owners, is best seen from the village's public streets.
