In Succieu, in the Isère department, the château de Milliassière traces its origins to a medieval fortified house connected to the Buffevent family, lords of the Buffières lands from the late 13th century. The structure still standing today dates largely from the second half of the 15th century and took on, in the 17th century, the shape of a rectangular building flanked by two corner towers. The estate also includes a farm barn from the 1950s, now used for cultural events. Its park, planted with old trees, completes this site recognised as Patrimoine en Isère.
