To make a day of it

Château de Mauvezin stands in Mauvezin (Hautes-Pyrénées), in the Occitanie region of France. The castle of Mauvezin stands with its square keep rising thirty-seven metres above the Hautes-Pyrénées, a remnant of a fortress rebuilt around 1380 under Gaston Fébus. Inside the keep, several rooms have been arranged to depict everyday medieval life, alongside video screenings covering the site's history and restoration work.
