Its appearance combines late medieval defences, round towers pierced with gunloops, a two arched stone bridge, with the later additions of an unfinished Renaissance wing. The estate belonged for more than three centuries to a single family, the Lévesque, before a fire and its later conversion into a farm in the 18th century.
