The château de Laubertie stands in Saint-Jory-las-Bloux, in the Dordogne, on an estate whose settlement is believed to go back to the 11th or 12th century. The present façade dates from 1874, built for the De Las Escuras de Lépine family, whose coat of arms can still be seen on the tower pediment and on the dining room fireplace. The surrounding farm buildings, stables, wine store and former farmhouses, reflect a once substantial wine estate, with traces of terraces and old vine stock still visible on the nearby hillside.
