Lanteuil appartenait à la châtellenie de Turenne. Bâti par la famille de Faucal, le château se compose d'un ensemble de bâtiments des 15e siècle et 16e siècles. Les bâtiments s'ordonnent autour d'une cour. Les parties les plus remarquables sont la tour carrée d'escalier de la fin du Moyen-Age sur la façade principale et le bâtiment du 16e siècle avec sa tourelle en échauguette et ses lucarnes Renaissance à coquilles. A l'intérieur, plusieurs cheminées sculptées.
