What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château a été bâti par les Templiers au 13e siècle. Restaurations du 16e et 17e siècle. L'édifice se compose d'un corps de logis en retour d'équerre, fermé sur une cour intérieure par un mur. Il renferme de vastes salles aux plafonds élevés, avec des cheminées du 17e siècle en pierre. Fenêtres géminées romanes à chapiteaux sculptés. Dans la salle-à-manger, une source jaillit dans le roc. Petite chapelle voûtée.
