What the French Ministry of Culture records

Du premier château il ne reste qu'une tour carrée, qui devait être le donjon, à mâchicoulis, dont le couronnement a disparu. Au 15e siècle, deux corps de bâtiment en retour d'équerre, dont l'un contenant l'escalier de pierre, ont été accolés à la tour. Le premier a conservé ses fenêtres à meneaux cruciformes. Au-dessus de la porte du second bâtiment, à l'étage supérieur, deux corbeaux devaient supporter un mâchicoulis. A l'origine, la tour ne semble pas avoir possédé d'ouvertures. Plus tard y furent percées des embrasures d'armes à feu.
