Château de la Rochette stands in Caluire-et-Cuire (Rhône), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
On the hillside overlooking the Saône at Caluire-et-Cuire, La Rochette looks more like a convent than a lordly residence: a long four-storey façade, a ground-floor gallery running its full length, and a heavy chapel topped by a bell tower. Its austere appearance comes from centuries of religious use, including a Benedictine abbey established there in the 19th century. The chapel holds a bas-relief by the sculptor Fabisch. Converted into housing in 2016, the site is not open to visitors.
