What the French Ministry of Culture records

La famille de gentilhommes verriers conserva le château jusqu'au 16e siècle. L'édifice est formé de deux corps de bâtiment en L, flanqués de trois tours carrées. Les deux constructions principales présentent des toitures encore proches de la Renaissance. L'élément architectural le plus ancien correspond à la tour Est, dont la partie basse est voûtée et prend le jour par d'étroites meurtrières. C'est le seul témoignage de la construction édifiée par les verriers. Les façades ont un ensemble d'ouvertures datant de la fin du 17e ou du début du 18e siècle.
