The château de la Jaubertie stands near Colombier, in the Bergerac area, a few kilometres south of Monbazillac. Rebuilt at the end of the 18th century in Directoire style and later altered in the following century, it shows a south facade decorated with gypsum bas-reliefs and two hexagonal pavilions attached to the main building. The estate, now a working vineyard, includes a trompe-l'oeil painted staircase and reception rooms with mythologically themed ceilings.
