Château de La Ferté-Milon stands in La Ferté-Milon (Aisne), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century). Admission is free. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

In La Ferté-Milon, in the Aisne department, stands the unfinished facade of a castle commissioned in 1393 by Louis of Orléans, brother of King Charles VI. The duke's assassination in 1407 permanently halted construction, leaving a wall 102 metres long and 28 metres high, pierced by a tall gateway topped with a relief of the Coronation of the Virgin. Four almond-shaped towers, a wall walk with machicolations and a moat remain from this project, which never went beyond its opening stage. The site also inspired several paintings by Maurice Utrillo.
