Sobre édifice brique et pierre du début du 16e siècle, qui a conservé quelques éléments de fortification de la même époque. De même, certains détails de modénature et de décor Renaissance ont été préservés, en dépit d'importants remaniements au cours du 19e siècle. Le château possède également des communs intéressants, mais qui, eux aussi, ont subi de notables transformations au siècle dernier. L'ensemble est néanmoins homogène et offre un exemple relativement rare en la région d'architecture nobiliaire du 16e siècle.
