What the French Ministry of Culture records
Ancien siège de petite seigneurie de la Marche conservant des aménagements intérieurs caractéristiques des 15e et 17e siècles. Le plan de masse est celui d'une maison forte à enceinte quadrangulaire et tours d'angles. En élévation, les tours tronquées conservent des parties datables de la fin de l'époque médiévale. Le corps de logis (1500) a été agrandi et modifié au 17e siècle, transformant la forteresse en demeure habitable. Les bâtiments à usage agricole peuvent remonter au 17e siècle, et ont été remaniés à plusieurs reprises. La grange étable a subi de grosses modifications aux 19e et 20e siècles.
