What the French Ministry of Culture records

Construction du 15e siècle, complètement remaniée au 17e. La façade devait se terminer à l'est par deux tours maintenant disparues, qui faisaient pendant à celles du côté opposé. Les murs en briques des chemins de ronde des tours ont été construits en 1848 par les ouvriers tisserands des manufactures de Cholet. Au nord se trouvent les restes d'un jardin à la française, avec terrasse, au bord d'une pièce d'eau.
