What the French Ministry of Culture records
Construction du 16e siècle, remaniée sous Louis XIII, qui se compose de trois pavillons, de gerbières et de deux tourelles couvertes en dômes et surmontées de campaniles. Les toitures reposent sur des corniches modillonnées. L'intérieur est orné de boiseries Louis XV. Le salon de compagnie possède une cheminée monumentale sculptée qui conserve des traces de peinture, datant de la fin de la Renaissance française. Les deux tours rondes qui flanquent le devant de l'édifice, possèdent des escaliers à vis en bois. Le grenier est couvert d'une charpente en grosses poutres de bois formant une coque de navire renversée.
