To make a day of it

Château de la Cazine stands in Noth (Creuse), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In Noth, in the Creuse department, this manor was built in 1894 for Viscount Paul de Curel at the heart of a former 250 hectare estate, set between a lake and woodland. Inside, a hall with a wrought iron staircase leads to a salon lit by wide round arched windows, alongside a private chapel whose 18th century furnishings have since been removed. The outbuildings and the large U shaped stables reflect the scale of the farming operation that once surrounded the house.
