Château de la Berchère stands in Boncourt-le-Bois (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first half of the 17th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

En 1634, Pierre Legault, premier président du Parlement de Bourgogne, fait reconstruire le château. Seuls la tour sud-est, un bel escalier en vis et quelques vestiges témoignent d'un bâtiment médiéval. Le château présente un bâtiment central avec deux ailes. Il est établi sur un terre-plein rectangulaire entouré de douves. L'aile est présente sur la cour une façade ordonnancée d'ordres superposés. La galerie du rez-de-chaussée possède un plafond en pierre partiellement décoré de caissons sculptés. La tour sud, de plan semi-circulaire, possède encore des ouvertures gothiques. A l'intérieur, une chapelle décorée de stucs fut aménagée au 18e siècle. L'aile ouest a été reconstruite récemment.
