To make a day of it

Château de Jouy-en-Josas stands in Jouy-en-Josas (Yvelines), in the Île-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The Château de Jouy-en-Josas stands in the Yvelines department, southwest of Paris, on an estate now used by HEC Paris for executive education and seminars. The present neoclassical building followed earlier structures on the site, including a medieval manor and a 17th and 18th century château. Traces remain of once-renowned formal gardens, including an Orangery parterre described by Dézallier d'Argenville, before the grounds were later reshaped into an English-style park. The Orangery building still stands but is now in ruins.
