Set in the Côte-d'Or countryside, the château of Jours-lès-Baigneux retains the outline of a Renaissance residence built from 1542 by the d'Anglure family on the foundations of an older stronghold. Its most notable feature is the facade linked to the influence of Sebastiano Serlio, marked by pilasters and arcades, along with the round Joyeuse tower named after Isabeau de Joyeuse. Dismantled in the eighteenth century, the building kept a park with canals and hedged walks that still traces the line of the former moats.
