Château de Frôlois stands in Frôlois (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 13th century, 14th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Set on the edge of a rocky spur rising more than a hundred metres above the Vau valley, the Château de Frôlois retains the outline of a 13th century stronghold, altered over the centuries until the 18th. Of the medieval structure only a 17th century main building remains, lined with tiered terraces along the cliff edge. Inside, a 17th century hall and an 18th century drawing room hold painted tapestries brought from Bergamo in Italy.
