Château de Javerlhac stands in Javerlhac-et-la-Chapelle-Saint-Robert (Dordogne), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 16th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

La seigneurie, dépendant de la baronnie de Nontron, avait pour seigneurs suzerains les vicomtes de Limoges. Le château est reconstruit vers 1498 par Dauphin Pastoureau, maître de forge à Nontron. Une description de 1730 indique que le château est à trois tours carrées et rondes. En 1888, le donjon, haute tour carrée, n'existe plus. L'édifice actuel se compose de deux corps de logis en retour d'équerre, soudés par une tour polygonale, à mâchicoulis, renfermant l'escalier qui dessert les deux bâtiments. Le logis ouest, rehaussé à la fin du 19e siècle, devait à l'origine posséder un chemin de ronde qu continuait celui de la tour ronde. A l'angle nord-ouest de ce logis s'élève une grosse tour ronde à mâchicoulis ornés de trilobes et portés sur des corbeaux à trois redans.
