To make a day of it

Château de Failloux stands in Jeuxey (Vosges), in the Grand Est region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Close to Épinal, in the commune of Jeuxey, the Failloux château dates from the 18th century and is known for its gates attributed to Jean Lamour, the ironworker behind Nancy's Place Stanislas railings. A square courtyard flanked by two pavilions with dovecotes leads to a long, narrow main building whose interior retains a period staircase and fireplaces. The grounds, once laid out as a formal French garden, now hold a kitchen garden and vines.
