The château de Creyssels is a fortified farmhouse dating from the 16th century, located in Mèze in the Hérault department, between the old Roman road and the Thau lagoon. Bought in a derelict state in 1982 by Henri and Josiane Benau, the estate was restored and turned into a working vineyard. Visitors today find an active wine estate, restored old buildings and a landscape of scrubland by the lagoon.
