What the French Ministry of Culture records

La seigneurie est mentionnée en 1350. En 1876, les architectes Henri Despierre et Henri Feuga sont chargés de rhabiller le logis, et de développer les communs et le parc. Près du donjon carré, le logis à deux tours d'angle et échauguette, est relié à une tour carrée par une galerie. Il conserve un ensemble de pièces au décor néo-gothique, desservies par un escalier monumental. Les communs et dépendances se développent sur plusieurs cours. Le parc intègre, à l'est, les falaises avec une grotte et, au nord, des terrasses avec une cascade.
