Château de Corcheval stands in Beaubery (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first quarter of the 17th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
Corcheval castle stands on a terrace overlooking the Semence valley, in the commune of Beaubery. Its three wings arranged in a U shape, its round towers and its chapel reflect the turbulent history of the site, destroyed and then rebuilt in the early 17th century. It was in this chapel that the future Saint Marguerite Marie Alacoque, taken in by the marchioness de Fautrières, dedicated her life to God. The castle remains privately owned.
