Château de Chèreperrine stands in Origny-le-Roux (Orne), in the Normandie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first half of the 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château a en partie été détruit par un incendie en 1925 qui l'a réduit de deux travées dans sa largeur, de chaque côté de l'avant-corps. Le grand comble a été supprimé au profit d'une couverture en tuiles dissimulée derrière une balustrade. Les deux avant-corps sont surmontés d'un fronton triangulaire. Au sud, le fronton est orné d'un bas-relief montrant quatre enfants jouant. L'intérieur a été très remanié après l'incendie, et le mobilier fait par l'atelier de Nicolas Heurtaut a disparu en partie. Le rez-de-chaussée a conservé un salon entièrement décoré et meublé par Nicolas Heurtaut. Les lambris avec leurs dessus de porte peints paraissent dater de la deuxième moitié du 18e siècle. Les communs sont constitués de deux bâtiments parallèles. Le commun Est abritait en partie le logement des domestiques et la chapelle. Le commun ouest est réservé aux écuries et aux attelages.
