Set in the Perche countryside near Igé in Normandy, the château de Lonné shows the Louis XIII facades built in the mid seventeenth century for François de Faudoas de Sérillac and Renée de Brie. Ownership passed through several families, from the Sourches to the Bullion and then the d'Orglandes, before the architect Sanson reworked the building in the late nineteenth century. Around the main house lie a park redesigned in 1929, a walled kitchen garden and farm buildings including a mill, forming an estate that has kept its coherence over three centuries.
